I'm obviously supporting the hunters since they're our protagonists, but the chimera ants haven't done anything worthy of needing forgiveness in my opinion. All they did was hunt down a competing species just like how humans have always done. I'd even support a peace treaty being negotiated if it was realistically possible. It's only an extinction war because Chimera ants populate even more aggressively than humans and therefore any alliance would get burned down the moment the ants run out of resources.

I wonder why people like this arc so much previous arcs were far better than this especially phantom troupe arc the master piece, that arc was one of the the best anime arcs for me but this, this is too boring to even waste time on it, I guess I don't like this arc because i don't have any interest in ants they don't have anything like phantomtroupemembers 😍 iam only stick here so I can see can this arc can get better when king is born

I'd rate the arcs as Greed Island > Chimera Ant > Phantom Troupe > post Chimera Ant > Hunter Exam

I'm also a fan of the MC's not being the strongest on screen. I dislike the video game style of the MC reaching the top of the food chain only to cross a border and then suddenly become a scrub again. I prefer the current style where there's always someone stronger and they just narrow the gap over time.
